1. Who we are

West Coast Real Estates is a business name (DBA) of Charles Nguyen, a licensed California real estate broker (CA DRE #01846114), located at 8283 Bolsa Ave, Midway City, CA 92655. In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the brokerage.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a form on this site, we collect:

• Your name, email address, and phone number.
• Property details you choose to share, such as an address or APN, property type, and selling timeline.
• Appointment preferences (preferred and alternate dates and times) and any notes or messages you write.
• Your choices about text messages and marketing emails (both are optional and off by default).

Information collected automatically

• Security checks: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam and bots. Turnstile processes your IP address and basic browser and device signals to decide whether a request is automated.
• Server logs: our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and the date and time of the request.
• Browser storage: we store your light/dark theme choice and whether you have acknowledged our site disclaimer in your browser's local storage. If you use the translate menu, a googtrans cookie remembers your chosen language.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers on this site.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to your inquiry, prepare a requested valuation or feasibility review, send a requested guide, or schedule a consultation.
• To provide real estate brokerage services you ask us for.
• To send text messages, only if you opted in, and marketing emails, only if you opted in.
• To protect the site against spam, fraud, and abuse.
• To meet our legal, licensing, and record-keeping obligations, including California Department of Real Estate requirements.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only as follows:

• Service providers who help us run the site and respond to you, under obligations to protect your information: website hosting (Vercel), bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), and our form-processing and email-delivery workflow (n8n).
• Google Translate, only if you choose a language from the translate menu. The page content is then sent to Google to be translated, under Google's own privacy policy.
• Affiliated services (KC Mortgage or Socal Trusted Escrow), only when you ask us to connect you with them.
• Parties to your transaction, such as escrow, title, lenders, or cooperating brokers, as needed to carry out a transaction you have engaged us for.
• Legal reasons, when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or to protect our rights and the safety of others.

Mobile phone numbers and text-message opt-in consent are never shared with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Text messages and email

• Text messages are sent only if you check the optional SMS box. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.
• Marketing emails are sent only if you opt in, and every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We will still reply to the specific request you submitted.

6. How long we keep information

We keep inquiry information for as long as needed to respond to you and provide services, and longer where the law requires us to keep records (for example, California real estate transaction records). When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

7. Your California privacy rights

Depending on the circumstances, California residents may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
• Request deletion of their personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it).
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Under California's “Shine the Light” law, you may also ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes (we do not).

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not sell or share personal information or track you across other websites, our site does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. If you send a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing.

9. Children

This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections and bot protection, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Links to other websites

This site links to other websites, such as the California DRE license lookup. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed.
